Main Line MUFON Founder
Jennifer Stein is director of the Main Line MUFON group. She is a Pennsylvania State Section Director for public outreach and education. Jennifer is a trained field investigator for the Mutual UFO Network. Jennifer is a long time member of the Noetic Sciences organization after meeting Edgar Mitchell in 1973. Jennifer hosts free monthly programs in her community at the Tredyffrin Public Library in Wayne PA to debate UFO related incidents and other topics of interests. Jennifer presents frequently for civic and community groups to help educate the public about, Crop Circles, MUFON and Noetic Sciences, and she screens her documentary films for groups on request.
Jennifer Stein became active in MUFON in 2002 by invitation from the acting state section director Tom Cary. After a significant UFO sighting in 1974, Stein was challenged to make sense of this event and place it in the context of known reality. Participation in MUFON has made this possible, through learning from others with similar experiences.
Jennifer currently works as an independent documentary film maker. She works to bring personal stories and unique information to the public that that would not be covered by mainstream media.

Jennifer W. Stein and co producer Bob Terrio won two EBE awards at the Open Minds film festival in Scottsdale, AZ February 28, 2015. This was Jennifer’s 4th EBE award.

Travis – The True story of Travis Walton, was three years in the making. All living members of the original logging crew are featured. Current and archived interviews are woven of the police sheriff, the chief polygraph expert for Arizona in 1975, as well as UFO experts Stanton Friedman, Kathy Marden, Ben Hansen, James Fox, Peter Robbins, and Lee Spiegel.
The true story has never been told in a documentary and Jennifer believed the time had come to capture these interviews and testimonies on film for the next generation.
2015 marked the 40th anniversary of the Travis Walton incident which was celebrated with a UFO Conference in Heber, AZ and included a screening of the film TRAVIS, a tour of the actual forest incident location and a weekend of presentations with top experts in the UFO field. Event coordinators included Travis Walton, Karen Brard, Peter Robbins, Ron Williams, Ben Hansen, and Stacy Wright and Jim Mann.

The topics covered in her films have covered such topics as memorializing a friend Rita Levine, killed in a terrorist attack on a public bus in Jerusalem in 1989." Rita's Journey" raised $100.00 thousand to fund the opening a legal aid Bureau in Rita's memory in Carmiel Israel benefiting Arab, Israeli, and Druze's families helping to break down stereotypical ideas of separation with-in Israel. The center also fights domestic abuse and supports legal aid for all women in need regardless of their religious or political affiliations.
A film about gun violence in Pennsylvania promoting a commonsense approach to legislative amendments protecting PA citizens from rampant handgun violence, thru responsible gun ownership.
In 1983 Stein graduated from of the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science in textiles. She has worked as a clothing designer with her own business. In 1996, Stein created her own special events business, J. W. S. Events, Inc. which she ran for 10 years, before she moved into film as her greatest passion.
Jennifer has worked as a women's rights activist, serving as president of a Jewish Women's rights organization. She was a founding member of the Coalition Against Jewish Domestic Violence in Philadelphia, a founding member of Cease Fire Pa, and the founding organizer of Main Line MUFON in 2002.
She is a member of the Noetic Sciences organization, part of their Shift in Action, which is committed to the study of the evolving human consciousness movement. Astronaut Edgar Mitchell one of the founders of the Noetic Sciences organization in 1976 encouraged Stein and others in her cast of Up With people on the path exploring expanded awareness, and the evolution of human consciousness when Mitchell met with Up With People cast members sharing his experience of seeing the earth from the moon and how this profoundly changed his perspective on the nature of personal reality.
Jennifer pursues her passion for knowledge in many areas, including archeology, UFO's, crop circles, & ESP as well as the science of consciousness. She practices Yoga and is a vegetarian, organic gardener and macrobiotic cook. She is happily married and the mother of two adult daughters.
Jennifer Stein has been a Radnor resident for 35 years.
